Ingredients

For the Chili Crisp Fettuccine Alfredo
  • 12 oz fettuccine this is the perfect pasta for creamy sauces.
  • 1 cup heavy cream adds that luscious, rich texture we love.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated, for a cheesy, savory flavor.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter because everything is better with butter.
  • 2 cloves garlic minced, the fragrant base of this dish.
  • 2 tbsp chili crisp for a delightful spicy kick.
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by cooking the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set it aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once it’s bubbly and fragrant, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until it’s fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, so everything combines beautifully.
  4. Step 4: Reduce the heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and becomes smooth.
  5. Step 5: Stir in the chili crisp, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Step 6: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it to coat the pasta in that luscious sauce.
  7. Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley for that fresh touch.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of cream or milk to bring back the creamy texture.
