Ingredients

For the Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup adds a rich, creamy base
  • 1 cup chicken broth enhances flavor
  • 1 oz ranch seasoning mix for a zesty kick
  • 1 cup sour cream makes the dish creamy
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by placing the chicken breasts in your slow cooker. Arrange them in a single layer for even cooking.
  2. Step 2: In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and ranch seasoning mix. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, making sure each piece is coated.
  4. Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Step 5: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Step 6: Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Feel free to get creative! You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts, add in veggies for extra nutrition, or use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a lighter version.
