Ingredients

For the Mac and Cheese
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 lb cooked chicken shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper

Equipment

  • Large Pot or Dutch Oven
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Wooden Spoon or Spatula
  • Colander
  • Cheese Grater

Method

  1. Step 1: In a large pot, combine the elbow macaroni, broccoli, shredded chicken, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  2. Step 2: Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  3. Step 3: Remove the pot from heat and stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and creamy.
  4. Step 4: Serve immediately. You can garnish with additional cheese or herbs if desired.
